'Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my father in heaven.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.'  Matthew 18: 19 - 20

The Benefice Prayer Group meets every Wednesday in St John the Baptist Church, Alnmouth from 12.00 – 1.00pm.

Many people find it hard to pray.

  • Where do you start?
  • What do you say?
  • Am I doing it properly?’

The answer is that there is no ‘proper’ way, whatever you pray and whatever you want to say to God is the best way for you.

We welcome people from the five villages who want to join with us and pray for the life of the Parishes and activities, for across the community, the wellbeing of its members as well as world concerns.  We believe that Prayer starts here with us and is central to our faith as we make time to listen to God.

Any prayer requests can be left at the box in Alnmouth Church, you don’t have to say too much just your desire for prayer.

If you cannot get to the Church you may telephone either:
